Cancun is home to many of the world’s most beautiful beaches and is well-known for its beautiful scenery. During my summer vacation, I took a fun and exciting trip to Cancun; it was breathtaking. Like any other out-of-state trip, I had to fly to Cancun. The flight was around 6 hours. However, that didn’t bother me since being on the plane was relaxing.
I mostly stayed at the resort when I was in Cancun. The resort was spectacular and included unlimited food and drinks. Some of the astounding things in the resort were a private beach, water slides, and pools. My favorite part of the resort was the private beach since I could see through the water. Being in the resort, I had access to a buffet where my family and I ate breakfast in the morning. At the beginning of the day, we would start by going to one of the pools because my mom was doing a class online. After my mom finished with her class, we would get together.
The first day started kinda strange since my mom was in class most of the day. Because of that, I was left with my brother and my mom’s boyfriend, and we decided to stay at one of the pools. While I wish my mom was with us, I still had a great time at the pool. When my mom was done with her class, we went into our room and changed to be prepared for dinner. There were so many different options and choices of food ranging from a steakhouse to an Italian restaurant. After much consideration and contemplation, my family and I decided to have dinner at the Italian restaurant.
I enjoyed my dinner at the restaurant. I ended up getting salmon with a certain white-yellowish sauce. The salmon had a unique flavor which I greatly enjoyed, especially since the sauce complimented the salmon very well. After my very superb dinner, I went to sleep in the hotel room. Later in the week, I got to enjoy the 3 different water slides. The slides were each different colors and different styles. One of the slides hurt my ass extremely bad, but it was worth it. After going on the slides we went to the beach, and it was so beautiful. The water was crystal clear, and I could see my feet on the beach floor.
One of the most exciting things I did on my trip was go to this fish/water park, where I could see dolphins and there was a zipline. In the park, we got to see a trained dolphin that could do tricks. The dolphin was able to swim under the people and was able to do flips. Some people even got to ride on the dolphins which seemed really fun. We got to take multiple pictures with the dolphins which was really entertaining. The food at the water park was not that good. However, I got some good ice cream. Overall I enjoyed my time and I would love to go back sometime soon.
