He’s red and white with a pointy hat and silly ears – and he’s here to make you smile the day before finals begin.

Enoch’s own Elf on the Shelf – affectionally named “Kai the Elf” – is going to be around campus today during passing periods to spread holiday cheer for anxious students that are nearing the end of the first semester.

Any student lucky enough to spot a glimpse of Kai is encouraged to take a selfie with him and DM it to @enochseagleeye on Instagram. The seventh DM we receive from each location will be contacted and presented with a gift card for their participation.

Remember, kids – Kai is here from the North Pole and the only way that he can make his way back to Santa and deliver presents to the good boys and girls all over the world is if he maintains his magic, which diminishes every single time he gets touched. So feel free to lean in close but make sure not to touch Kai or else there’s a chance that Santa won’t be able to make it down your chimney this year.
