Here Comes HoCo! Enochs to host Merced on 9/26: Fall Festivities Abound!

From Red Zones to White Lines: The 90’s, the beach, and football are front and center during homecoming dress up days

Before the Eagles take on Merced on 9/26 for Homecoming, make sure you show your school spirit by wearing Black and Gold!

HoCo 2025 has arrived.

The Enochs High School Leadership class has been hard at work planning the festivities for the upcoming game on Sept. 26 against Merced at Downey High School and it will all kick off next week with the annual dress-up days.

Students are encouraged to show their school spirit by dressing up on the following days in the following ways:

Monday: Y2k – Dress like you were in the early 2000’s.

Tuesday: “California Girls and Boys” – Wear your best boardshorts and beach gear.

Wednesday: “Red Zones and White Lines” – Wear red and white to support the football team.

Thursday: “Dripping in Finesse” – Dust off the cookie monster pajama pants and the duck slippers and come to school in your comfiest attire.

Friday: Wear Black and Gold Spirit Day – Wear your best Enochs gear and don’t forget to come out for the rally!

Era Kuehl, a member of the Enochs High School Class of 2026, is serving as the School Editor for The Eagle Eye. Era plans to pursue a career in nursing after graduation, where she hopes to make a difference in people’s lives through compassion and care. She has a passion for leadership and is actively involved in school activities that allow her to grow as both a student and a leader. Music is also a huge part of her life, and she enjoys how it helps her connect with others and express herself creatively. When she isn’t focused on academics or leadership responsibilities, Era loves spending time with her friends, getting involved in new opportunities on campus, and exploring her interests beyond the classroom. She values the balance between school, creativity, and preparing for her future career. What Era loves about journalism: “I love being able to report on the truth and express my opinion at times.
