Abel Demess, School Reporter
Abel Demess, a member of the Enochs High School Class of 2026, is serving as a School Reporter for The Eagle Eye. Abel’s favorite class right now is Video Game Development, and he plans to pursue a future career in the tech field, though he is still exploring which path to take. When he isn’t busy with schoolwork, Abel enjoys playing video games, reading, and playing sports. Math has always been one of his strongest subjects, and he enjoys problem-solving because it comes naturally to him.
What Abel loves about journalism: “I love the variety journalism offers because it can cover almost anything. It gives people the chance to share their stories, and those stories can spread to a wide audience, showing the big impact journalism can have.”
What Abel loves about Enochs High School: “Enochs feels different from most schools. There are so many groups of people, but no one is really left out or stuck in cliques. That sense of community makes everyone feel like they belong and can be themselves.”
