Carissa Nielson, Fashion Reporter
Carissa Nielson, a student of Enochs High School and part of the 2026 graduating class, is serving as a Fashion Reporter and part of the school podcast for the first time this year on the Enochs Eagle Eye website. Carissa plans to go straight to a four-year college to study to become a social worker and work with kids who need extra support. She loves having interesting conversations with people and learning new things from other people’s experiences. When she isn’t busy with school or working, she loves to go on runs. She loves running when the sun is coming up or going down because she likes the colors and how peaceful it is. She’s a part of the Enochs FFA program and has shown a pig for 3 years, which has made her love for animals even stronger. She unwinds by spending time with her friends, going to get food, and driving around.
What Carissa loves about Journalism: “I love how it brings people together and informs everyone, I feel like it gives people things to talk about that affects all parties in one way or another.”What Carissa loves about Enochs: “I love some of the amazing teachers we have here. I’ve gotten very close with some, and they have helped me through a lot and given guidance when I needed it the most.”
