JoAnna Pimentel, a member of the Enochs High School Class Of 2025, is serving as a podcast editor for the Enochs Essence this year. JoAnna is a dancer, dance instructor, choreographer, actress, singer, editor, artist, and more. She was the choreographer of our school’s previous musical “Hairspray” and plans to continue in all things entertainment, performance, and the behind the scenes in college and beyond. She strives to succeed in everything that she does not just academically but socially and emotionally as well. Most importantly she LOVES Dutch Bros, thai tea, and sandwiches!

What JoAnna loves about journalism: “I love that journalism allows us to freely express not just our own thoughts and opinions but the thoughts and opinions of the ones who are unable to express them. To be the voice for the voiceless whilst building community within our school.”

What JoAnna loves about Enochs High School: “I love that there is something for almost everyone whether you’re into sports, art, singing, dancing, acting, robotics, speech, debate, writing, or poetry, there is most likely something that you can pursue and find community in with individuals like minded to you.”
