Joseph Ponteras, Sports Reporter

Joseph Ponteras, a member of the Enochs High School Class of 2026, is serving as a reporter with the sports crew of the Eagle Eye website. Joseph plans on attending college to pursue a career in nursing. He hopes to one day travel the world and have a family of his own. When he is not doing anything school-related, Joseph loves to play basketball, work out at the gym, and listen to music. In addition, he also plays for the school’s boys basketball varsity team here at Enochs. He just loves cherishing the moments he spends with all the people around him, like his friends and his family.

What Joseph loves about journalism: “I love that I get to talk about things that I can freely speak about and have the ability to spread my knowledge to others. I also like how I can participate in certain activities like filming podcasts with my friends.”

What Joseph loves about Enochs: “I just love the people and the communities at Enochs. The school is very diverse, and it is like seeing all parts of the world with all these different groups of people. I also love how most of the staff and teachers I’ve had in all my years of high school have been very interactive and helpful to me.”
