Kylie Bonales, Music Podcast

Kylie Bonales, a member of the Enochs High School class of 2026, is doing music podcasts for the Eagle Eye website. Kylie plans on attending cosmetology school and working as a hairdresser in the Bay Area after high school. She hopes to travel the world someday and plans to go to Italy after high school to visit. When she’s not in school she enjoys reading, painting, skateboarding, playing guitar, and spending time with her friends. She enjoys all things musical and constantly spends all her money on concert tickets.

What Kylie loves about journalism:  “I love reading and writing. I used to research things going on in the world during  quarantine and write about them. Kinda like little articles but I never published them. I had an enjoyable time researching and writing them. I also like being fully aware of things happening around me. I feel like journalism just gives you a freedom to express yourself in writing.”

What Kylie loves about Enochs: “I really like the people at Enochs. I’ve never been to a school with as much of a welcoming community as Enochs. I’ve made so many lifelong friends in my current three years of being here. I also really appreciate  the way Enochs pushes their students to stay in school and actually go to college, not a lot of schools really care enough to influence that and I think Enochs does a really good job at keeping the option of college open to everyone.”
