Yaritza Garnica, a member of the Enochs High School Class Of 2025, will be a reporter this year on the Enochs Eagle Eye. Yaritza plans on pursuing a higher education by attending college in pursuit of becoming a lawyer. She plans on earning and saving enough money to travel the world and visit different countries to learn more about their culture and try their foods. Yaritza is very focused on her studies, but when she isn’t busy with school, she has other ways to keep herself occupied. Outside of school she participates in dance and water polo as her main sources of activities. Her favorite thing to do is spend quality time with her family as well as reading and baking when she’s alone.

What Yaritza loves about journalism: “I love knowing that through journalism, we can make a change and keep people engaged with what is going on. I love the feeling of possibility in making a difference.”

What Yaritza loves about Enochs High School: “I love the diverse group of students that contribute to the overall community that makes up Enochs because there are groups of people who all share multiple things in common and build friendships off of that. I also like the academic opportunities that are presented at this school.”
