Alex Carlin, News Editor
Alex Carlin, a member of the Enochs High School Class of 2023, is serving as the News Editor in the second year of The Eagle Eye website. Alex would like to pursue a job in the world of professional sports after high school and college, with a potential major in sports journalism/sports media to pursue an insider job for a team/league, or analytics to pursue a front-office job, with the MLB being his league of choice. His main hobby outside of school is following professional sports, spending time watching games, and keeping up with sports news. He also enjoys travelling, it is one of his favorite things to do and believes experiencing new places and cultures is one of the most amazing and mind opening things a person can do.
What Alex loves about journalism: "It gives me the chance to write about the things that matter and have an impact on people with the things I write, as well as helping me to gain new perspective on the things I write about."
What Alex loves about Enochs High School: "I love all of the opportunities that are presented to students in so many ways, whether that be sports, clubs, certain classes, or more."
