Augie Manzano, Opinion Editor

Augie Manzano, a member of the Enochs High School class of 2023, is serving as an Opinion Editor in the second year of The Eagle Eye website. Augie would like to enroll in a trade school to become an electrician and work in the city to contribute and do his part for the community. Of course, that isn't just what Augie would like to do when he graduates. He wants to be able to travel around the country as well as see places that the US doesn't have to offer. Augie would love to live in San Diego. When Augie isn't playing games to pass the time, he's hanging out with friends and laughing the days away. He keeps up to date with the news and tries to understand everything going on with current events. Augie loves connecting with people and building relationships with people who were once strangers.

What Augie loves about journalism: "I love that I'm able to bring to light topics that are important to those on campus. These topics may come off as controversial, but I'm able to get conversations about said controversial topics going because it was brought to light. I love that I'm able to hear many different viewpoints and perspectives from those around me, it makes me understand that it's not just my viewpoint to think about, it's everyone's."

What Augie loves about Enochs High School: " I love all the events that Enochs has to offer. Games, dances, field trips, everything. There's always fun to be had when going to any of these things listed. You find your fun as well as everyone else."
