Abigayle McKinney, Editor

Abigayle McKinney, a member of the Enochs High School Class of 2023, is serving as a General Editor in the inaugural year of The Eagle Eye website. Abigayle plans on attending MJC for two years after graduating from high school before transferring to a university where wants to major in something related to journalism, English, and/or teaching. She hopes to save enough money to travel around the world and experience everything that life has to offer. When she isn't doing her school work, Abigayle plays the trumpet in Wind Ensemble 1 for the Enochs High School music program, as well as the marching and pep bands. She is involved in a number of activities both on and off campus, all of which are focused on making a difference in the lives of others. She unwinds by spending time reading, painting, journaling, and spending time with her parents, brothers, and dog.

What Abigayle loves about journalism: "I love the impact that we have on the rest of the student body and the way they view events happening in our school, the community, and the world. I love that I can make a difference through my writing."

What Abigayle loves about Enochs High School: "I love the community at Enochs. I feel that everywhere I look I can find a smiling face and someone who is willing to help me out, strike up a conversation, or lend a hand. I love that most everyone lifts each other up so that we can all be the best versions of ourselves."
